General Information

Dietrich Speech & Language Services provides a full range of diagnostic testing, treatment and support related to communication delays and disorders. The following sections are not all-encompassing, but do list our most common therapies offered, patient populations and diagnoses treated and services provided.

Parental/caregiver involvement is essential for a child’s communication success. Therefore, parents/caregivers are often encouraged to observe and participate in therapy sessions.

Patient Population Served

We primarily provide speech-language pathology assessment and treatment to children ages birth to 18 years.

However, we are also pleased to offer specialized services to adult patients. Outpatient speech-language rehabilitation is provided to adults in the convenience of their own homes and/or at our clinic location. Our adult speciality and passion involves the treatment of neurological speech disorders such as aphasia or apraxia. The average adult patient who benefits the most from our services is a person in their first year of recovery following a stroke.
